Marie I. Kaiser (University of Cologne) is visiting University of Calgary for a few weeks in September 2016.
Marie will give a public lecture entitled "ENCODE and the Parthood Question" as part of the Department of Philosophy Speaker Series on September 16, 2016.
Marie will also meet with Ken Water's research group to discuss her research and read and discuss papers on scientific metaphysics. Marie will continue as a member of Ken's research group when she returns to Germany, regularly joining the Calgary group remotely through Skype.
